The meter uses amperometric biosensor technology to measure blood glucose from a low blood volume (0.5 µL) in about 5 seconds. The test strips use laser-patterned carbon electrodes for precision and are manufactured with tight tolerance, so there is no coding. Just insert a strip and test. Fast Draw technology lets the strip draw in the blood drop quickly.
The meter also stores past readings so you can keep track of your results, and it can connect to the "mycontrol" mobile app. The meter can store up to 500 readings
